Youth Leaders Summit
(IGYLS) 2026
Beyond a Summit: Immersive Leadership Experience
“Act Today. Shape Tomorrow”
Why You Should Join IGYLS 2026?
The world today faces significant challenges: an increasingly complex climate crisis and a decline in the quality of youth participation in democratic processes.
At the same time, young people possess immense potential as agents of change, yet their involvement is often limited to symbolic roles. IGYLS 2026 is designed to bridge this gap, transforming potential into meaningful action through global collaboration and impactful leadership.
The climate crisis is becoming increasingly complex and urgent
Environmental challenges are no longer isolated issues. They are interconnected, rapidly evolving, and require innovative, cross-sector solutions driven by informed and capable leaders.
Youth participation remains largely symbolic
Despite their potential, many young people are still not meaningfully involved in decision-making processes. Their voices are heard, but not always translated into real influence.
Limited space for cross-border collaboration
Global challenges require global cooperation. However, opportunities for young leaders to collaborate across countries and cultures remain limited.
Many initiatives stop at ideas, not action
Great ideas are everywhere—but without the right platform, mentorship, and ecosystem, many of them never reach implementation or real impact.

About Program
IGYLS is a global platform that brings together young leaders from diverse backgrounds to collaborate, learn, and co-create impactful solutions to today's most pressing environmental and democratic challenges. Designed as more than just a forum, IGYLS offers an immersive experience where ideas are transformed into actionable initiatives through cross-border collaboration, hands-on learning, and direct engagement with global experts and policymakers.
Organized by the Green Democracy Institute, IGYLS is part of a broader commitment to nurturing a new generation of leaders who are not only aware of global issues, but are equipped with the skills, networks, and mindset to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
